Screws & Dies
30 Years Experience in Meeting the Tough Demands of the Plastics and Food
Industries
Key Benefits
As leaders in extrusion design technology, we at SPR know the demands
that are placed on feed screws. Typical requirements include high pumping rates, completed
melting, and good mixing abilities, requiring complex screw geometries to meet these
needs. SPR developed the mathematics of computerized feed screw design and manufacturing
and established the first computer controlled milling facility in 1980.
Designed to meet the needs of today's industrial applications, we cut screws over 30 feet
long and 16 inches in diameter...
